Point West Credit Union has become aware of fraudulent text messages being sent to both members and non-members regarding Point West debit cards. The text messages say:

“Point West C U general alert: Your debit card has been flagged – reactivation required.”
The text message also includes a phone number to call to reactive the card.

These text messages are a phishing scam in an attempt to steal personal information. Please ignore these messages and do not provide private information to anyone such as your card number or pin. Please be assured that your personal and financial information is secure.
