Fraud Alert

Point West Credit Union has become aware of fraudulent text messages being sent to both members and non-member regarding Point West credit cards. The text message says:

“POINT WEST C.U. NOTICE: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 503-895-3919”.

These text messages are a phishing scam in an attempt to steal personal information.

Please ignore these messages and do not provide private information to anyone such as your card number or pin. Please be assured that your personal and financial information is secure. If you receive a message that you believe is suspicious, call Point West at 503.546.5000 (888.468.5826) to verify the validity of that message.
