How to Fund Your Point West Account
Getting started is easy. Here are a few simple ways to add money to your Point West account.
Adding Money to Your Account
If you already have money at another bank, starting a transfer from that bank is usually the quickest option. For ongoing deposits, direct deposit is a great next step.
Move money from your other bank by initiating the transfer on their side. This is often the fastest way to move money you already have elsewhere. We recommend registering for Online Banking before beginning this process.
How it works:
- Log in to your other bank (like Wells Fargo, Chase, etc.). Transfer instructions will vary by financial institution.
- Within your other bank, enter Point West’s routing number (323075495) and your Point West member number.
- Start your transfer (Most transfers take 1–3 business days.)
Deposit checks anytime using our mobile app—no branch visit needed. Note: Please be sure to endorse the back of your check with the written words, “For mobile deposit only,” the credit union’s name (i.e., “PWCU,” “Point West CU,” etc.).
How it works:
- Sign your check
- Open the Point West mobile app
- Take a photo and submit
Funds are typically available within three (3) business days.
Have your paycheck or benefits deposited directly into your account. Once set up, your money will be deposited automatically each pay cycle.
