Member Alert: Phone Scam Warning

We’ve received multiple reports of scammers spoofing Point West’s phone number and impersonating our fraud department. These calls may sound convincing and appear legitimate.

🚩 RED FLAGS TO WATCH OUT FOR:

• Urgent language like “Immediate payment required” or “Account suspension notice.”
• Suspicious links directing you to unfamiliar or unofficial websites.
• Requests for personal information such as credit card numbers or login credentials.

 

🔒 HOW TO STAY SAFE:

• Do not click on suspicious links or reply to unexpected texts.
• Block unknown numbers and report any suspicious messages.
• If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and call us directly.
