Mark your calendars! The Point West Annual Member Business Meeting is Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at 4 PM. This is a great time to hear from your CEO and volunteer board of directors as well as get a clear view of your credit union’s financial standing and what is in store for 2015. We will have light refreshments and opportunities to win some prizes. Plus, we are excited to announce that Jennifer Wagner will be presenting as our guest speaker!

Jennifer Wagner is the senior vice president of advocacy for the Northwest Credit Union Association. She leads the Association’s federal governmental affairs priorities, working closely with the Northwest congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. as well as in our region. Wagner oversees the Association’s grassroots advocacy programs and initiatives to raise political action funds to support candidates who promote credit union movement legislation. She leads the operational side of all advocacy programs including the grassroots and political advocacy efforts. After earning a BA from Oregon State University, Wagner spent 10 years in the legislative arena, working for local congressional representatives Darlene Hooley and Kurt Schrader, both in Washington D.C. and in their Oregon offices.

Getting there: We encourage attendees to please use public transportation, walk, or ride their bike to the Annual Meeting, however we understand that those are not the most convenient modes of transportation for everyone. If you drive a vehicle to the meeting there is parking available in a parking garage across the street from the entrance of the Multnomah County Building. If you park in the garage, please find a Point West employee before leaving the meeting so we can give you a free parking voucher.
