For better or worse, YES. To ensure a smooth transition, you’ll have to re-register even if you have an existing account on our current online/mobile banking platform. You will be required to create a new username and password. More details on how to do this will be coming in the near future.
We recognize this will be a significant inconvenience to users have become accustomed to our current systems – but as security concerns and the prevalence of online services has evolved, creating a system that balances convenience and security is more critical than ever. SpeedyLine is being retired with our change in systems, and we will not be replacing the system with another telephone teller solution. While we recognize that some of our members value this service, it is expensive to maintain and uses outdated technology to operate. SpeedyLine predates many of our other services, including Online Banking and Mobile Banking, which offer convenient access to your accounts, transaction history and the ability to make transfers between accounts. We appreciate your understanding and apologize to any longtime users of SpeedyLine for the discontinuation of this service.
