Caring Tree a success!
You helped us reach all 50 children and families on our 2013 Caring Tree. Thank you!
We could not have done it without everyone’s support. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, members and community for ensuring a brighter holiday season for struggling, local families. A special thank you to our friends and partners at Multnomah County’s Early Childhood services as well.
The Caring Tree has been an annual event at Point West for over 20 years. During that time, it has supported well over 1,000 local children and families.
Early Childhood Services is a division of the Multnomah County Department of Health that serves over 7,000 women, infants and children each year. Its programs provide home-visiting services that are responsive to the cultural needs of their clients and promote family bonding and parent-child attachment, improved pregnancy and birth outcomes, and the adoption of healthy behaviors during pregnancy and early life.
